Handmade & Bound 2008 Flyer by Ian Caulkett of the Tiptoe Collective
Handmade & Bound is happening in London on November 8th 2008. It’s an independent fair featuring affordable, handmade artists’ books, comics and zines. It’s apparently a new event created in response to the lack of a London Artists book fair at the ICA this year. It should certainly make a cool addition to the already full small-press calender.
In the organisers own words, “The event we want to have will be based on handmade but affordable books and zines. We want to achieve a good balance between artists books and zines (in the DIY punk tradition).”
Last Hours will have a stall at the event though will be predominantly be selling limited edition Hey Monkey Riot comics, prints and other related items. There are a number of other exciting stall holders, including some people involved in Last Hours such as Marc Ellerby and Jon Active, but with too many others to mention you should visit the Handmade & Bound website and have a look!
When: Saturday 8 November 2008
Where: St Aloysius Social Club,
Phoenix Road, London NW1 [map]
(the nearest tube Euston station).
Details: 12-6pm. Free entry.

Oh, and of course if you’re in London this weekend then you should be going to the London Anarchist Bookfair. Last Hours will be sharing a table with our friends from Occupied London. More details are on the London Anarchist Bookfair website - http://www.anarchistbookfair.org/ or on Last Hours at
