On the 2nd of February, anti-fascists that took the streets of Athens to confront a fascist demo that had been called for the same day, were confronted by the fascists and the riot police working harmoniously together: The fascists would run from inside the riot police’s line, attack the demonstrators and run back in again. Two anti-fascists were seriously injured; an anti-fascist demo that attempted to leave the university grounds a few hours later was brutally attacked by the police.
