Antillectual
I interviewed political punk band Antillectual on a cold December night after they played an inspiring set in the Cavern Club, Exeter. Antillectual were on tour from the the Nijmegen area in the Netherlands. The three piece play melodic, hard-hitting punk rock in the vein of Propagandhi and Strike Anywhere.

The Institute for Anarchist Studies (IAS) is a nonprofit foundation, which was founded in 1996 to support the development of anarchism by giving grants to radical writers and translators across the world. David Coombs works at the IAS, and on a recent visit to the UK took the time to talk to Last Hours about what the Institute is all about.

An interview with Bay Love, community organiser from New Orleans
Joey Cape’s first UK show of his debut solo acoustic tour brought him to London’s Islington Academy on 29 March. Last Hours managed to pin down the Lagwagon frontman just before the show to find out how he feels about striking out on his own, his ever growing array of musical projects and the politics of punk.
This February I was fortunate enough to interview Gina with the conversation ranging from her recent play, and upcoming plans through to Proposition 8 and the changing forms of homophobia in the United States.
In March 2009 it was announced that Nate Powell had been nominated for the LA Times book prize, for his book Swallow me whole. It is the first time a comic has been nominated for the prize since Maus in 1992.
