Climate Camp 2008 - A debate

This years climate camp is now well and truly over and whilst many have declared the camp a great success its time to reflect upon the camps failures as well as its successes. Uri Gordon, activist and author of “Anarchy Alive!: Anti-authoritarian Politics from Practice to Theory” took part in a debate with journalist/author George Marshall about the role of radical politics in the camp.

Leeds Common Place needs your help

On 30th July The Common Place, an autonomous social centre in Leeds, had their license withdrawn. It means that whilst The Common Place will continue to function, the centre will no longer be able to do a number of things, which is potentially threatening the centre’s future.
