This years climate camp is now well and truly over and whilst many have declared the camp a great success its time to reflect upon the camps failures as well as its successes. On 30th July The Common Place, an autonomous social centre in Leeds, had their license withdrawn. It means that whilst The Common Place will continue to function, the centre will no longer be able to do a number of things, which is potentially threatening the centre’s future.
