This year Last Hours has a table at the international comics festival in Angoulême, France. We’ll be taking our two new books – Diary of a miscreant and Excessive Force – to the BD Alternative area. If you happen to be going to Angoulême, drop round for some politically inspired comics at our table. Also [...]
I recently went to see Vanilla Pod play at the Fighting Cocks in Kingston. While there I remarked on the following points to people I saw: Seeing Vanilla Pod in Kingston seems like being in a time-warp (as this is my home town and the site of many Vanilla Pod viewings, just not in the [...]
Alkaline Trio are one of my favourite bands. When I was 16, I got a friend to draw me an Alkaline Trio tattoo design on tracing paper, which I planned to get tattooed across my shoulders in whatever studio would turn a blind eye to inking under-age girls. While I am quite relieved that my [...]
Statistically this past Monday, the 18th January, is the most depressing day of the year. Normally I don’t buy into this kind of hype, but this year I’m a fully paid-up member. Aside from the chest infection, not seeing the sun in weeks and being dumped in the rain in a city I [...]

We are also working on getting new stock for both the online shop and our events distro. We will be at the the usual zine and small [...]

Musically this is a mix between The Misfits, Devo and The Ramones, which made me feel quite excited throughout the first two songs. Unfortunately, the whole concept of short, electro-fused late 70s punk gets boring pretty quickly…
The COP15 climate change conference was meant to be a significant moment in the global response to the threats of climate change, convening governments after years of negotiation and producing results. The mobilisation to it was huge on all fronts. Delegations from 193 countries, NGOs, scientists, journalists, lobbyists, as well as anarchists and activists either [...]
